Skinning allows players to take the skin of an animal mob after defeating it allowing the skin to then be used for Leather Craft.
How it works[ | ]
When Skinning is gained as a passive, animal mobs have a chance of dropping their skin as bonus loot with higher level mobs having a lesser chance to drop their skin and rarer mobs will have an even lower chance to drop their skin.
Experience is gained when a skin is collected and is proportional to the level and rarity of the mob.
